The ocean is a powerful force, both in nature and culture, capable of awe-inspiring beauty, relentless power, and profound redemption. Protecting it, while harnessing its potential for food security, clean energy, and a thriving blue economy, demands collective action. We must join forces and work together.
This was the core theme of our recent event, “Together, We Rise,” held in Nice, France, as part of the third UN Ocean Conference (UNOC3), hosted by the governments of France and Costa Rica.
In partnership with the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), we celebrated outstanding leadership on ocean-related issues by presenting the BPA SDG14 Awards to two remarkable individuals.
